One-Year Wear Warranty
CROCHETHICA One-Year Wear Warranty (Woven Jewelry)
Effective date: March 4, 2026
At CROCHETHICA, we stand behind the craftsmanship of our woven gemstone jewelry. Our woven bracelets, rings, and lariats are handcrafted using natural gemstones and gold-, silver-, or palladium-plated accent beads woven with durable nylon thread.
Warranty coverage (12 months)
CROCHETHICA offers a one-year wear warranty on woven bracelets, woven rings, and woven lariats purchased only from our official website.
For 12 months from the original purchase date, if your eligible item breaks during normal wear due to a materials or workmanship issue (i.e., the item fails under ordinary use without accidental damage, misuse, or other external factors), we will repair it complimentary.
What “complimentary repair” includes (when covered):
- Repair labor (re-weaving/rethreading as needed)
- Replacement of gemstones and/or beads that were lost as a direct result of the covered break (or the closest available match if the exact component is unavailable)
What’s not covered (exclusions)
This warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by factors outside normal wear, including but not limited to:
- Accidents or external force: snagging, catching, pulling/yanking, stretching beyond intended fit, crushing, impact, dropping, bending, or forceful removal.
- Improper care or exposure: chemicals/cleaners, perfumes, lotions, hairspray, chlorine, saltwater, hot tubs, prolonged water exposure, excessive heat.
- Alterations or repairs performed by anyone other than CROCHETHICA.
- Loss or theft of the item.
- Cosmetic wear from normal use, including plating wear, scratches, dents, tarnish/oxidation, patina changes, or surface wear to gemstones.
- Size changes, stretching, or fit adjustments over time (these are considered non-warranty)
If your item isn’t eligible for complimentary warranty repair, we may still be able to repair it as a paid repair. If so, we’ll provide a quote before any work begins.
Eligibility requirements
- Warranty applies to the original purchaser only.
- Warranty applies only to purchases made on crochethica.com (not third-party retailers, marketplaces, or resellers).
- Proof of purchase is required (order number, receipt, or other CROCHETHICA-issued proof)
Domestic shipping (U.S. only)
This warranty is available for U.S. customers only.
- You are responsible for shipping the item to CROCHETHICA for evaluation/repair.
- If the repair is covered under this warranty, CROCHETHICA will cover return shipping back to you (U.S. only).
We recommend using a tracked shipping method and secure packaging. CROCHETHICA is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to us.
How to start a warranty claim
Email hello@crochethica.com with:
- Your order number (or proof of purchase).
- A clear photo of the full item.
- A close-up photo of the break/issue.
- A brief description of what happened and when.
If your claim is approved, we’ll reply with return instructions.
Repair timeframe
Once we receive your item, warranty repairs are typically completed within up to 2 weeks (not including transit time). Timing may vary during holidays or high-volume periods.
Natural gemstone and component variation
CROCHETHICA pieces use natural gemstones, which may vary in color, pattern, and inclusions. If a repair requires replacement components and an exact match is not available, we will use the closest available match that preserves the look and integrity of the piece.
Legal terms and limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CROCHETHICA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state. Any implied warranties required by law are limited to the duration of this warranty period to the extent permitted by applicable law.
